Michigan Housing Market Among Slowest to Recover - CDPE

Photobucket

According to RIS Media, due to our 13.1 percent unemployment, Michigan will be the second slowest state to recover, trailing only Nevada. While this may be true, it's important to remember in every chaos, there is equal opportunity.

The chaos is obvious, it's all the average person and media talk about. Where's the opportunity, you ask? Real estate investing. Have you ever seen real estate values lower here in Oakland county? Neither have I, and I've been doing this a l-o-n-g time. Don't know much about real estate investing? Honestly, neither did I. I can list and sell real estate in my sleep, but cash flow and ROI are not terms I use regularly. Until now.

What I do know is that I want to live in the opportunity, not the chaos, of this Michigan real estate market. I never thought of myself as a real estate investor before, but I do know an opportunity when I see it. And this is it. Since neither of us know much about real estate inventing, let's learn together. We're sitting for our Certified Investor Agent Specialist, or CIAS designation in just a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we just bought our first property. That's right. Right here in the second slowest market to recover from this economic chaos. That's how sure we are the time is right.

Chaos or opportunity?
